We believe that media has a responsibility to society above shareholders.

We envision a strong democracy and are comitted to supporting media that are "of, by and for the people" - genuinely informative and broadly participatory. We believe that we need to remove the barriers and distortions of the modern information environment that stem from government and corporate-dominated, hierarchical media.
