Filtering A View By A List Of Nodes With Checkboxes

One of our clients manages a Masters program and has a list of participating schools from around the globe. Because the program is similar at each institution, but has different admission and tuition requirements, the client wanted us to develop a tool for prospective students to easily compare each school. Students select their prospective schools, and the tool shows them all the necessary information in a table format.

CiviCRM Custom Field Option Lists Now Supported by Views Filters

Adding Custom Breadcrumbs to Views Pages

Recently I needed to add custom breadcrumbs to views 2 generated pages. Now we were using excellent custom_breadcrumbs 1.x to add custom breadcrumbs on site. At that time I discovered that 1.x version of custom_breadcrumbs do not support views generated pages and 2.x version of module (which supports views) is not production stable. So I came up with this solution to create custom breadcrumbs for views pages:

First DrupalCamp in Seattle for 2009

This Saturday the Seattle DUG is hosting a one day DrupalCamp. We are calling it a MiniCamp, because we usually manage two day events. This one is a little different. In true BarCamp style, we are not specifying speakers or topics. Heck, a schedule barely exists. The intent is to bring people together, to cooperate and learn more about Drupal. I am really excited about this, because there is more opportunity for everyone to participate.

Module Monday: Views TWO needs YOU

Views 2 Alpha 2 has been released (and it kicks ass), but views is still many patches away from a stable fully-featured release. This is blocking many drupal 5 sites from upgrading to drupal 6. Earl Miles has laid the groundwork and is now calling on the community to help get views 2 out the door. Download or CVS-checkout views 2, install it, try to replicate your favorite view and see what features are missing or broken -- there are plenty.
