Community-based Drupal training at DrupalCon Chicago

I'm at my third DrupalCon in as many years. This year's conference represents two firsts for me: it's my first as a CivicActions team member, and my first as a conference speaker. I'll be presenting on Community-based Drupal Training with three other people.

Drush comes to Drupalcon Chicago

Following a last minute session shuffling the Advanced Drush is now on the schedule for Wednesday 5:00PM-6:00PM. Three of the Drush maintainers - Moshe Weitzman, Owen Barton and Mark Sonnabaum will be presenting.

The session is still being developed, but as a taster we are planning on covering:

CivicActions In Paris!

CivicActions Logo: EmpoweredCivicActions is in Paris, and we are running some great sessions at DrupalCon Paris 2009; Photo of Gregory Heller smiling in a CivicActions Empowered T-shirt We won't be at the job fair this year, but please hunt us down at the conference (we'll be wearing CivicActions t-shirts) if you're looking for work or want to join a first-class international and virtual team of world-changing Drupal developers. You can also contact us through the website for more info or if you want to make sure you don't miss us.

Vote For DrupalCon Sessions

Unexpectedly, it appears I will probably be able to attend DrupalCon DC 2009. So I have been working frantically to get my session proposals in. Here they are; Make sure you review other recent session proposals which don't get a lot of eyes or votes since they are on the last page.

Sharpen Your Theming Skills At DrupalCon

Theming is one of the aspects of Drupal development that Drupalers most want to get better at, according to Dries' last survey.

Video of Scalable Theming Session from Drupalcon Boston

Drupalcon Boston sessions were all recorded on video and have been made available on archive.org, thanks to numerous drupal community members and other Drupal resources. (This is quite out of date now, but better late than never.) Here are the videos from my talk on Scalable Theming: Theming for 100s of node types, CCK fields, and views:
