WebEnabled Launches Rapid Development Platform Including Drupal Provisioning

WebEnabled is a Free and Open Source (FOSS) hosted platform that "makes it easy for teams to focus on building awesome web applications." Provisioning applications from their library is fast. Bevan reported getting a Drupal 7 instance up and running in a few minutes. The service offers full SSH, SCP and SFTP access. You can also manage your code revisions and collaborate with others using SVN.

Groundswell Fights DRM in Spore Video Game

News of what appears to be a distributed, spontaneous action against the new video game "Spore" because of the DRM included with the game has been spreading around the web since yesterday (when I first heard about it from Fred Benson of Free Culture) , and the action seems to be growing.

Amazon's new IA & design...

Normally I couldn't care less about ecommercial megasite redesigns, but Amazon has led quite a few innovations in the past, and I think is worth paying attention to (I have seen the site used as an case study in several usability & design books). Anyway, the page layout has changed very significantly - there is a brief summary of the changes available.
