In 2007 Ken Jordan came to us with an idea for a new online magazine for the time of great transformation the world needs now. The online magazine covers topics ranging from sustainability to shamanism, alternate realities to alternative energy, remixing media to re-imagining community, holistic healing techniques to the promise and perils of new technologies.

CivicActions partnered with Ken Jordan and author Daniel Pinchbeck to make the site a reality in just a few short months. The website built with Drupal 5 launched in early 2007 featuring stunning visual imagery, long form essays by multiple contributors and community functionality allowing members to comment and share articles via social news sites.  The magazine uses the open source CiviCRM and CiviMail components to manage its email list and regular newsletter. In the year since launch, additional features have been added and the site's organization and theme have evolved. Recently RealitySandwich.com introduced premium content and subscriptions using the Ubercart module.

We have since handed over day-to-day operation and management of the site to Evolver.net's development team and continue to provide hosting and advanced technical support.
