NDN.org

NDN approached CivicActions with a big problem - their website had been taken offline and they urgently needed to get it back up and running and integrated with their existing Drupal based blog, NDNblog.org

CivicActions immediately set up an interim website to support NDN online activities while working on upgrading it to Drupal 6 and integrating the separate NDN Blog Drupal site.  The new site includes listings of NDN programs and events as well as NDN's library of videos.  We worked closely with the NDN team to identify their high priorities and implement them within an aggressive timeline.  The NDN website relaunched in May 2009 -  4 weeks after kickoff - with an updated look and feel, including carousel displaying features; top stories, recent work and blog posts sections.  With minimal training, NDN staff are able to manage and maintain their website and ensure high priority content is featured prominently.

The new theme was designed by Jozef "Jojo" Toth and executed by Themer Jared Stoneberg. AJ Roach and Gregory Heller split duties on configuration and engineering. The team was managed by Justine Hersch.
