Democracy Now! CiviCRM and Ubercart Implementation

With an active, very passionate and ever-growing audience, Democracy Now! was looking to implement a constituent relationship management system to improve their ability to inform, rally and garner support from their viewers. At the top of their list of requirements for this system was that they could inform and mobilize their audience in a respectful way. This meant empowering the audience member who signed up to specify how and when they would like to be contacted.

It also meant continuing to maintain a high level of security for their constituent data. As part of this plan, the CivicActions team also recreated Democracy Now!'s existing web store in Drupal and implemented a bulk mail service selected to help them keep some 60 to 100 thousand constituents informed on a daily basis. The outcome was that Democracy Now!'s ability to take a customized communications approach to every member of their constituency was significantly improved.

Their new CiviCRM system will give them the flexibility to add on functionality and detail as their organization and constituency grows.
