BAVC

Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) partnered with CivicActions in 2010 to augment a powerful online portal connecting video producers, media makers and students to support BAVC's goals of empowering the public to bring their artistry and vision to public access television, and to teach the public video production and computer skills through educational programs.

BAVC wanted to build a site that could adapt to the changing needs of public broadcasting stations, including the need for expanding adoption of emerging technologies under the increasingly tighter budgets faced by most public access television. CivicActions enabled BAVC to reach it's goal by augmenting it's constituent relationship management and education management integration with the popular Salesforce CRM service, and through integration and custom development of the Open Media suite of Drupal modules, which provides a robust platform for television stations to manage and schedule television shows from inception to broadcast.
