OMGWTF calculator competition

Those of you who follow the awesome Worse Than Failiure (A.K.A. 'WTF!') - blog (and if you don't you should!) will already know about this, but if you don't I highly recommend checking out the recent OMGWTF calculator competition. The brief: design a replacement to windows calculator. The result: some of the most incredibly overengineered, textbook examples of how-not-to-program you could possibly imagine. The latest entry, for example, is based on modeling a transistor in fully object oriented code, and linking them up to form the calculation engine.

Hmmm... sounds like us! I like the "out of the box" thinking! If the authors decided they wanted to help progressive non-profits, well, the results would surely be undefined. I'd be game for checking out the worlds they create, though. How can we turn them to the Light Side of the Force?
