Full Screen Switcher On Google Maps
2 months ago we launched the Witness Video Hub. Last week the Hub Map's full-screen mode was finally released!
It features an original full-screen-mode switcher which puts the map in to, and out of, fullscreen mode without a full page reload.
The Hub Map, it's full-screen mode and the switcher is something I have been creating testing and refining for a few months now and I'm very happy to see it live. I hope to abstract the code for the full-screen-switcher and other related features into something that can be released on the GPL or contributed back to drupal.org. I'm also interested in feedback from others.
There will be a case study of the Hub with more details on the Hub Map in the near future. Meanwhile, check out the Hub Map for yourself:
