Drupal Student Project Announced

The Season of Usability Drupal project has been announced by OpenUsability over at the Season of Usability blog. Link to there announcement: Drupal Student Project Kicked Off.

On a personal note, I'm really excited this is finally happening and that I have so much support from the drupal community, core developers, Dries, CivicActions and OpenUsability.

I'm looking forward to meeting many of the folk I'm working with on this project in March at DrupalCon Boston 2008.  I have also been invited to attend the formal usability testing of Drupal at the University of Minnesota's Usability Lab.  It will be interesting to see how we can work together to support each others usability efforts.

I have posted 7 possible different project goals to the SoU group on g.d.o.  I am now seeking feedback from chx and the drupal developer community.  Please add your feedback to the discussion there -- Thanks!
