Architecture for Humanity raises awareness and money with eBay auction
Architecture for Humanity, an organization co-founded by 2006 TED prize-winner Cameron Sinclair is employing a winning strategy to raise funds. They are using eBay to auction off a special VIP Pass to this year's TED Conference.
Architecture for Humanity is not the first organization to use the online marketplace to raise funds. EBay reports that to date, over $40 million has been raised for non-profits through their Giving Works program. We will be watching to see how high the bids go, but it seems that there are quite a few people who want this pass.
