First DrupalCamp in Seattle for 2009

This Saturday the Seattle DUG is hosting a one day DrupalCamp. We are calling it a MiniCamp, because we usually manage two day events. This one is a little different. In true BarCamp style, we are not specifying speakers or topics. Heck, a schedule barely exists. The intent is to bring people together, to cooperate and learn more about Drupal. I am really excited about this, because there is more opportunity for everyone to participate. We have sponsors helping us cover all costs: * CivicActions (lunch) * Methodologie (location, facilities) * Office Rat (breakfast) Their efforts allow us to keep this event completely free. Thanks! We are giving folks a chance to pitch their talk at our monthly meeting this Thursday. I want to work on core patches for Drupal 7, so that will be my pitch. It is an area where I know how to help but have not really spent much time. Now is my chance! For other sessions, I hope to help out, pitch in, and learn. See you there.
