Thank You!

Thank You Thank you, everyone!  To our clients on the frontlines of social change, to the hundreds of thousands of organizations we've not yet met but who are also working to improve the planet, to the Drupal Community for showing the world (yet again) how Open Source can change it, to the "undocumented Drupalers" who are silently expanding the install base of our favorite CMS platform one website at a time, to the networks of geeks all around the world lending their talent for a better world in all the ways you do, I just want to say Thank You!

Mostly, though, I want to say Thank You to the CivicActions team.  The commitment and passion our people have for the planet, our clients and for what CivicActions stands for makes this the best evar and are a constant source of inspiration.  We've undergone a lot of transformation in the last 12 months, and that's never easy for everyone, not to mention doing it during one of the worst economies in recent history.  So to all the people on the CivicActions team past and present, THANK YOU for making CivicActions what it's become and for helping shape what it will become in the years ahead.

We're incredibly excited about the future and what lies ahead for us in the next 36 months and I'll be sharing more about that in the new year.  In the meantime, let me share about this picture.

This card is from a six year old kid in my neighborhood named Gunner who's started a glass recycling business (there's no glass recycling in Nashville - how do you recommend making that happen?) with his stepdad.  The thank you note he sent us for subscribing to his service had me floored and cracked open with love and hope for the future, so it lives on the fridge. He was written up today in the Tennessean. You can learn more on his website, GunnersGlassRecycleCo.blogspot.com. I hope you find hope in this kid's story.   I sure do.
