The Advanced Theming Techniques presentation that Bevan and I gave was very well received. Thanks to everyone in the room for helping keep me comfortable. Don't know if you noticed, but I was pretty nervous at the beginning. It was my first DrupalCon and my first time presenting in front of such a large group. Because the Drupal community ROCKS, I soon felt quite comfortable.

At DrupalCon DC 2009 I co-presented a Panel with Ben Flinklea from Volacci and Greg Knaddison from Growing Venture Solutions. Here is our slide deck from the presentation, and a link to the SEO Presentation video.

Unexpectedly, it appears I will probably be able to attend DrupalCon DC 2009. So I have been working frantically to get my session proposals in. Here they are;

• Advanced Theming Techniques; Getting beginner themers up the Drupal theming learning curve.
• Paper Prototyping To Fix Usability Bugs; Designing and contributing drupal core usability bug fixes.
• Google Maps Mashups In <10 minutes; Using Drupal's GMap module to create Google Maps mashups on the fly, and showcase of the Hub Map.

Make sure you review other recent session proposals which don't get a lot of eyes or votes since they are on the last page.

Theming is one of the aspects of Drupal development that Drupalers most want to get better at, according to Dries' last survey.
